Jay Livesey is the General Manager of Motion Steel.
As General Manager of Motion Steel, Jay’s responsible for overseeing all structural operations which encompass project estimating, production, and installation. He started with Motion Steel in 2006 as a fabricator, then received his Journeyman Welder Certificate with Red Seal Endorsement from SAIT in 2011, and his Journeyman Metal Fitter Certificate with Red Seal Endorsement from NAIT in 2020. Given his background as a Tradesman, Jay brings a complete understanding of what it takes to execute structural projects on time and within the budget.
Jay’s a current member of the Badland Search and Rescue team that’s based out of Strathmore where he sits on the board as Director of Operations.
